Things that are awesome right now:

simgaroop's Advent Calender. Seriously. GO LOOK. She's retextured and recolored tons of my favorite hair meshes. I'm swimming in a sea of delight, it makes me feel all tingly.

AweSims has really really excellent recolors (quite a few of them of Maxis meshes) and some wonderful wallpaper and floors. Some LJ people

Also totally agree about Awesims, I have raided that site whilst cackling with girlish glee. And thank you for pointing out simgaroop's advent calendar! First thing I see is the Maxis pinup hair IN NEON. I adore xizarx's mesh but I purposely made a non-default version because I just love the Maxis one too AND NOW IT'S NEON.
