Wow, that is a very helpful example. It also looks rather time consuming. I guess the best thing for me to do is to purge my entire downloads folder, only keeping the things that are irriplaceable, such as some things I think are Migamoo's and the small amount of Daum stuff that I actually like. Starting fresh seems a lot less trouble than trying to make sense of my pile of strangely named files.

It is very time consuming if you're starting out with an unorganized set of downloads. I do recommend just starting all over. The only reason I was able to do anything is because I had to start from scratch and therefor was incredibly meticulous about making sure if there was anything I wanted to take out, I could do so without booting up the game/bodyshop/cleaninstaller/wardrobewrangler.

If I saw your downloads folder I'd probably feel the incredible urge to organize it. Move over, give me three mugs of tea, some Queen, and a bowl of dry granola. It's only slightly less amusing because in real life I'm extremely messy, scatter-brained, and disheveled with most things. My compulsive arranging only applies to books, papers, and files both corporeal and virtual.

At some point I had tons of crap just in my Downloads folder willy-nilly. It kind of drove me insane. >_>

Oh man, I want this soooo bad. But I have like seven gig worth of crap, all arranged like the booty (site-creator-creation) and switching to a new system now would pretty much not work. Not to mention the dreaded ZZZ-Misc folder, which shall be the death of me for sure. So yeah, I want your brain, or possibly for you to fly here and arrange all my downloads for me. Can I pay you in vegan fruitcake?
