looking for faces in the clouds
I finally finished my recolors of Sarhra's Eyes! Yahoo! Whoopee! Doin' a little dance over here 'cause I didn't use sliders for the entire project and colored everything bit by bit by hand and I may not be 100% happy but I am done and I am extremely tired and all is good in the world. Simrenity's Hi-Res eyes and Pooklet's Glockenspiel set were enormous inspirations, seeing as they make up my favorite eyeset and were the first bits of custom content I ever downloaded. So thank you, simrenity and pooklet for being swell gals and lovers of color. Credit goes to Sarhra above all as these are her eyes, I just took one of them, desaturated it, and lost my damn mind about thirty times. I realize these are not everyone's cuppa tea; I like them because they fit in somewhat with the Maxis cartoonish aesthetic and so I made them for myself. Some people hate Maxis and Maxis-ish stuff with a fiery passion. If you're one of these people just click "back" on your browser or check out Yumedust's Eyelove on Anva's sclera or Anva's many pretty eyesets.
There's a regular custom set, a geneticized townie-friendly set (wherein darker colors are dominant and lighter colors are recessive), and different defaults for you to pick and choose. If you're looking for defaults of the original set, there's one set here by engram_au and another here by inkbottleblue, both are loverly. You can only have one set of defaults at a time and only one default of any given color. This means one light blue, one dark blue, one green, etc. If you want to see the slightly enormous preview of all thirty shades, check it out here. The colors are named after Bright Eyes songs because I am lame and like poetic lyrics about alcoholism. Everything is compressorized for your convenience, previews are included, and all files are clearly numbered and labeled. Beware of immense picture spam ahead.
