"Well, that should be enough..."
Ken smiled as his ball point pen rolled down his index finger. The post office was pretty empty, which wasn't surprising on early Saturday morning. Running his hands through his hair, Ken yawned then reached to his pocket for a hair tie.
Eyeing the white envelope containing a letter and little trinkets, Ken hoped as ( Read more... )

"Grande bold, black." Yamato stood at the counter, ordering his coffee. Though he preferred tea, the older, pretty-blond man couldn't help himself, buying a hot cup of coffee. Caffeine would surely help his studying... it took too much time each day to write and study at the same time. Besides, he did afternoon classes and just got out--he needed a pick me up! He took his coffee and turned, seeing Ken there now, the poor boy stopped in his tracks, and smiled at him kindly.

"Hello Ken... how's it going?"

"Good. It's funny how I run into you though."
Ken replied, orienting himself towards Yamato, giving a slight bow to the older teen in actknowledgement.

The chime rang hello, as the tall chosen walked past the passerbys with baverages in hand, and Ken's smile widened more so, recalling the sunny sunflower stamp that was on the international mail just now.

"I just sent a mail to Rosa."
He noted, as he shifted his shoulder bag to the right shoulder to left, feeling pleased to be in the warmth of the store that filled him to the bone with the fragrant, warm smell of coffee and sugar.

He laughed a little and shrugged at him. "How is it funny? Were you thinking about me or something?" It'd been a while since Yamato'd seen Ken. Too long, really.

"Oh yeah? I should write too..." He sighed a little and shrugged a shoulder, taking a long drought of his coffee and moving to sit at a table covered in his books. "I'm not any good with English or Spanish though so..." He frowned. He didn't write to anyone, actually. Yamato was a bit of a recluse other than concerts and school.

"Hn. Can't say I wasn't, since I was remembering Rosa. Time spent with Rosa goes hand in hand with my travel with you."
Blue haired smiled with an ease.

"I could help you with Spanish- though, to be honest I wasn't too certain if my grammar was correct with the most recent letter. She seems to be doing well. She mentioned something about going to her friend's prom and such."

Ken paused and rested his chin on his hand.
"I'm not so sure about this 'prom' though. According to her it's something like a Cinderella's ball, and she wished I was there to accompany her." He shrugged.
"Which doesn't make much sense, that she'd prefer me over a rockstar." Winking to Yamato on this note, Ken grinned playfully.

He frowned a bit at Ken's joke and felt his ears burn under his hair. "Prom huh? I hear about it sometimes--you see it a lot in American movies. And I haven't written much to her so... She'd probably want to go with the nice guy, I think."

The blond tugged his hair up into a pony and frowned. "Geez... I need a hair-cut, I think..." He mused, looking over at Ken. "Its getting *really* long. I might take Sora or Hikari up on their offer..."

But he knew how SHORT they would make it and it would be such a... HUGE change! His hair covered ear piercings right now, but shorter hair would show them off better. At least his French genes keep him from being mistaken for a woman, but still...

"A change of heart?" Ken casually asked.
"If you just want someone to help you with it, I could give it a try. I trim my bangs often."
Ken pulled strands of his bangs as he spoke.

"However, one second please. I'll order my coffee."
