Haha, a bunch of folks probably picked it up when they saw your post and the publisher decided they better hurry up and jack the price back up. :-P

This looks good for my girlfriend; she enjoyed Twilight, 50 Shades, The Dresden Files, and Vampire Academy. I haven't read any of those, though, and I've been trying to come up with some suggestions for her - this looks to be along those lines. Thanks for the link.

If she liked Dresden Files, she may enjoy Kim Harrison's The Hollows series or Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire.

If she liked Vampire Academy, she'll probably like Richelle Mead's other series -- Georgina Kincaid, Dark Swan, and the Vampire Academy sequel series, which starts with Bloodlines.
