"The Shadow of the Tower" sounds amazing. I'm trying to get hold of it but so far the only downloading links I've found are dead. Netflix seems to have it though so if all else fails I may restart my membership for a month or two. I can't resist the lure of Christopher Neame!

Having now seen the last two eps of 'Shadow of the Tower', I can confirm that the one with Christopher Neame is Well Worth It *g* He is very pretty and very whumped. And he had more interaction with Perkin Warbeck than I had even hoped for, and now I have a historical AU fic wish that may have to come up in the next Yuletide *g*

If you want to choose which episodes to prioritise for any reason, I would go for 9 - 12. Episode 8 (about Cabot trying to get sponsorship) is in my opinion the only truly bad one - if you start with that, persist!

I didn't love The Night Watch at first, but it really grew on me when I reread it and now it's one of my favourite SW novels, though I agree about the sadness. There's something about how she portrays the frustration of loving the wrong person that's just so compelling to me.
