If you're OK with canned beans, ful medammes is fava beans. The supermarket near my endodontist is in a neighborhood with a lot of Middle Eastern immigrants, so they have about 17 varieties of ful medammes, although I can imagine your supermarket being a little more sparing. TJ's probably has it though.
Well, actually canned ful medammes are very different from the frozen favas--they're either a different variety or picked at a different stage of ripeness. All the frozen favas I've ever seen/used are green rather than brown and more delicate in flavor and texture than the canned ones. I do like ful medammes but they're a very different product.
