Me too... I tend to like Victorian/Edwardian popular fiction, especially for what they didn't mean/weren't aware they wrote :)

I've added legal download links as an ETA to this post, in case you want to obtain the books that way.

There was an ITV (IIRC) drama series in 1977 with Raffles played by Anthony Valentine, whose voice was, I think, one of the only 2 male actor voices sexier than Paul Darrow's)* and Bunny played by Christopher Strauli, who was too sweet to live. It was wondrous. Amazon have it here and i'd recommend it if you like the slashy goodness.

*and the possessor of the other voice, Alain Badel, was half French and therefore had an unfair advantage

I think I need to read these now. Ooh, they're on Project Gutenberg. Yay! *downloads*

If you go to the Internet Search Archive you can get them as PDFs of actual books, which I find much more readable than the text files from Gutenberg.

I'm actually going to try the Mobipocket versions from Gutenberg on my Kindle. Since I suspect they're converted from the HTML version, they ought to be readable. Plus, I can read on the go. :)

*grins* I like the PDFs from the Internet Search Archive.

The novel . . . I dunno. I started reading it, but there's a lot of blatant, icky antisemitism and I've put the book aside for now.
