fannish gratitude

My mood is a lot better now after taking a nice walk in the sunshine. I can tell I'm readjusting to Minnesota weather--I saw that the temperature was 41 degrees (that's 5 degrees Celsius) and thought "I'd better go out; it would be a shame to waste this lovely warm afternoon."

A very nice post. I know that sometimes fandom can be ugly, but I certainly would rather debate Twilight or why I prefer one actor over another with people who are as passionate about fannish things as I am, than to watch a football match or sit in a noisy, smokey bar all night, miserable, or any other of a myriad of things I "should" like.

Fandom really gave me the support to be me.
