End Game: Part 6

As you might know our beloved MMORPG City of Heroes will be closing at Nov 30th. There are efforts to save the game, but it's all in the open.
To cope with our sad feelings, a friend of mine started this series of short stories. They feature our most played/favored characters, but the end of the story arc depends on if the game will be safed, or not

Well, they're not free of emotions and villains are also fathers, sons or lovers.
And I figure in extreme situations even the toughest show their weak spots.

I...I just don't know if I can write my own parts to this. :( I've thought about it, I've had some scattered ideas, but I just can't put pen to paper. I don't mind if my characters get used in other peoples' stories, as long as they're not killed off or maimed, but...I just don't think I can write this. I don't want to imagine the end of the world.

Woah, hold on, I'm not going to kill your characters. But communications breaking down under such heavy hits of whatever is most likely to happen.

Tibor, Seth and Lily were destined to die one day; Tibor of old age, Seth (who is my farmer and therefor fighting at high levels and always head-over-heels) in a fight and Lily either of old age, or by broken heart. So it was (well not really) easy to make them the debt The Den had to pay (and I still hope this piece of writing will be obsolete in the end).

Kyle on the other hand should get his chance to meet his brother, after all. Since I don't know if he'll ever get the chance in-game, I had to bring it here, somehow.

I think I worded it badly; I was late and somewhat upset. I didn't mean to imply that you had plans to do that. ^^;; What I meant is that I'm willing to give you and shewolfe free rein to use my characters as part of these stories, if you want, and can do with them what you want, as long as you don't kill them off.

This is especially true since I know Maki would want to be with Kyle when he goes to find his brother, as she's said she would do, in the past. I will try to write her part, so they can at least reunite, but if I am unable to do it, feel free to use her as needed.

So...hopefully this makes more sense. ^^;;; I didn't think you were planning to do anything of the sort, but I did want it clear that my characters are free to use, if needed.

It's not that easy to write something if one does not know what the others have planned for their characters. But since our toons are all somewhat involved, I had to mention some of them.

For Kyle, Tibor was like the father figure he never had to him. And Tibor felt the same in return, so he wanted to know Kyle to be safe. Since it all goes so fast, he couldn't know that Paragon is suffering the same problems.
I have no clue yet, if I continue Kyle's and Robin's story, or if it just ends here, all in the open. Since the status of the game is also in the open, it might be the best decision to leave it at that. Since there's no other game with MMs and Kinetics, an open end might fit best.
