The ShadowCat went to the vet for her annual check-up Saturday before the one just past. I mentioned that she occasionally gets sick, once or twice a week. Vet looked at her shaggy, shedding coat (Shadow's not so great on the grooming) and recommended that we get her some hairball remedy dry food and frequent brushing

Yuck! Btw, our old dog needed to be brushed at least once a day as well. He would shed all the time, no matter the season. He seemed to like getting brushed though.

Eeew, my Mums cat was the same. It's all par for the course when you've got a long hair cat though. What it costs in furballs you gain in snuggling though, at least that's the way I look at it LOL.
