I just had a thought. Since someone on lj can claim "copyright infringement" if their post is copied to another journal/community without their permission (and it has happened) couldn't you also claim that your personal works (journal entries) are saved on the lj servers but innaccessable to you, thus giving you some sort of edge to force them at least to allow you to copy/download your journal?

Just a random thought.
