I would guess it's the Ponyland version of the recently-released Gameloft My Little Pony game. I haven't played it myself, but this strip accords well with what I've heard from people who have.

I really liked the music! I did find it pretty soothing.

The gems, not so much. I ended up uninstalling the thing once I came up against a gem barrier.

On reflection, the My Little Pony game is right up Minty's alley. It depicts a post-apocalyptic future Ponyland wherein the Primerians, Nisians and Tresi have gone extinct, to be replaced by a new race of smaller, more magically active ponies. Very sci-fi.
