I think the blood oranges would look stunning, but the taste might be better suited to sugar than salt - since they're so very fruity. But also, I bet blood orange powder alone would be amazing in, say, muffins or scones or a dressing for a light fruit salad.

Food Network? Contests? I should go check that out...

PS: Every time you use this icon I epic facepalm, and then hear this voice in my head screaming, "Dean! Get out of the SHOE POLISH!"

I've been thinking, WTF, who would do that to a tangerine and why? So glad I clicked in - makes MUCH more sense when you see the how and why.
