The new magazine from the Food Network is having an Iron Chef-ish contest with the secret ingredient "Citrus." You should enter this!

I think the blood oranges would look stunning, but the taste might be better suited to sugar than salt - since they're so very fruity. But also, I bet blood orange powder alone would be amazing in, say, muffins or scones or a dressing for a light fruit salad.

Food Network? Contests? I should go check that out...
