Review of my latest haul of BB Creams
From Left: Coogi Flowertox 3action Super BB Cream SPF25 PA++ x 2 tubes, Skin79 Intense Classic Balm UV SPF20 PA++, Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm Triple Functions Super Perfection, Skin79 Anti-Wrinkle Beblesh Balm, Skin79 dermaRX Control Balm, Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Functions SPF25 PA++, Etude House Magic BB Cream SPF30 PA++
1) Coogi Flowertox 3action Super BB Cream SPF25 PA++
This has got to be the most preferred BB among these 7 tubes.
Coverage : Medium - Thick. My definition of medium is that when worn alone, it doesn't cover my eye circles very well but upon application of my LP, its covered without the need of a concealer. But you're able to built up its coverage if you apply a thicker layer.
Texture : Managable. Its a little thick but still managable for application.
Shade : Has a slight pinkish undertone. Though I'm of a yellow undertone but it does not look weird on me.
Fragrance : It has a very pleasant flowery scent as its main ingredient is flowers. Scent kinda evaporate upon application.
Oil-Control : Pretty good oil control in my opinion. I have oily skin and this is kinda mattifying for me even after 8-9 hours.
Dewy-ness: Sad to say, this does not give the dewy radiant look as it has a rather matte finish. I have to have my Skin Food White Grape Makeup Fixer #2 Glow on to give me the glow.
2) Skin79 Intense Classic Balm UV SPF20 PA++
This has gotta be the best Skin79 BB that I've own. Its coverage and oil control is the best among all the Skin79 BBs I've tried.
Coverage : Medium. When worn alone, it doesn't cover my eye circles very well but upon application of my LP, its covered without the need of a concealer. All other Skin79 BB's coverage is rather sheer.
Texture : Very Managable.
Shade : Surprizingly, all the Skin79 BBs I've tried are pretty dark but this is not. It was a shade in between Skin Food #1 and #2. Absolutely perfect for me!
Fragrance : It has a very pleasant lavender scent which kinda evaporate upon application. Read the ingredient list and it does contain lavender, thus the scent.
Oil-Control : Not the best in oil control when compared with other brands but among all the other Skin79, this has the best oil control.
Dewy-ness: This has a slight dewy radiant look even without my Skin Food White Grape Makeup Fixer #2 Glow.
3) Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm Triple Functions Super Perfection
This is very similar to Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Functions SPF25 PA++ in my opinion.
Coverage : Sheer. Just like the Hologram Pearl BB, dermaRX BB, Anti-Wrinkle BB and Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Functions SPF25 PA++, coverage is very sheer.
Texture : Managable.
Shade : Just like Hologram Pearl BB, dermaRX BB, Anti-Wrinkle BB and Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Functions SPF25 PA++, its rather dark but upon application it seems fine.
Fragrance : Fragrance-less.
Oil-Control : Rather oily for me. Had to blot more than twice. I reckon this is suitable for Normal / Combi skin types.
Dewy-ness: The dewy look was from the oil that has produced on my facial area.
4) Skin79 Anti-Wrinkle Beblesh Balm
This is the oiliest or rather richest Skin79 BB I own.
Coverage : Very sheer.
Texture : Managable.
Shade : Just like the rest of the Skin79 BBs, its rather dark.
Fragrance : Fragrance-less.
Oil-Control : Very extremely oily for me. This is definitely suitable for dry skin, matured skin types or those who needs a richer BB.
Dewy-ness: The dewy look was from the oil that has produced on my facial area.
5) Skin79 dermaRX Control Balm
This is not your typical BB. It is not tinted and I use it as a moisturizer under other BBs or on days when I do not need to put on makeup. At times, I use it as a night moisturizer too.
Coverage : No coverage. Its a pinkish-whitish gel.
Texture : Managable. Kinda thick when you squeeze it outta the tube but its rather easy to apply.
Shade : NIL
Fragrance : It has a very faint lavender scent which kinda evaporate upon application.
Oil-Control: It has a pretty good oil control. I tried it under other BBs and on days without the application of this balm, it gets slightly oily. I'm thinking of replacing my moisturizer to this!
Dewy-ness: NIL
6) Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Functions SPF25 PA++
As mentioned above, this is very similar to Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm Triple Functions Super Perfection.
Coverage : Sheer.
Texture : Managable.
Shade : Just like other Skin79 BBs, its rather dark but slightly lighter than Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm Triple Functions Super Perfection which is the only difference among these 2.
Fragrance : Fragrance-less.
Oil-Control: This is rather dissapointing for me. I read from Soft Peachy Shop that this is recommended for Oily Skin but its definitely not. I reckon this is more suitable for those with Normal / Combi skin.
Dewy-ness: None. The dewy look was from the oil that my face has produced.
7) Etude House Magic BB Cream SPF30 PA++
This is rather similar to the formula without SPF coverage.
Coverage : Medium. When worn alone, it doesn't cover my eye circles very well but upon application of my LP, its covered without the need of a concealer.
Texture : Very Managable.
Shade : Resembles Scandal Magic but slightly lighter. Has a yellowish undertone. I reckon its suitable for those with a yellow undertone.
Fragrance : Surprizingly, the formula without SPF has a Tea Tree Scent but this does not. This is fragrance-less.
Oil-Control: Not the best but still managable. When I wear the Skin79 dermaRX control balm and/or with the Skin Food White Grape Makeup Fixer, its bye-bye oil!
Dewy-ness: Just like the formula without SPF and the Etude Bright, this gives the dewy, radiant glow! I did not have my Skin Food White Grape Makeup Fixer #2 Glow on but it still gives me the glow.
