Lol. You're not crazy. I kind of did the same thing. There was this girl who was all zomg i like u and I kept refusing and didn't talk to her all summer... then she asked me one more time and I was like "Oh god I'll give her a chance.." mostly 'cause I felt bad. It lasted about oh... two weeks?
