I've been reading your tweets and blog entries since January 2009, and have enjoyed the way you've promoted your interest in writing long before your first sale, and in a fun, approachable, and non-salesy way.

One thing that I wondered: I became aware of you when you followed my Twitter account, a few days after I started the account, when I knew virtually no one online. Brian Ohio (Kell) did, too. And I wondered: How does an aspiring author become aware of brand-new Twitter accounts held by writers, like you and Brian were able to? Because I wouldn't have met either of you at that particular time if you hadn't followed my account first. And I'm so glad you did! :)

Oh, my gosh--so many wonderful things in this post. First, thank you for following and your kind words. I really appreciate it. I can't speak from Brian, *flashes eyeball at him* but I can't say for absolute sure. I know that I try to connect with other writers who I have things in common with and we share that whole three kid thing. We should get complementary T-shirts with that club :o) I also know that when I find someone I enjoy in one place, I try my best to connect in all the places where we both are. The world is a big scary place some days. I am so glad that we've gotten to connect in our little corner of it. (((hugs)))
