This blog has been private for so long and more of a repository for things I can't make public. That really limits the things I do want to be public though - my photography, recipes, and other stuff - so I made a new blog. I'm sorry LiveJournal.

I'm glad on 2 fronts: 1 - that we are not losing you in LJ land (it's been yearrrrrs, sister) and 2 - that you are going public with some of your sentiments and writing and photos. I already subscribe to Domestocrat! :)

Yeah I love your new blog! It makes me want to start my own in the future... something less.. Livejournal-y? I actually have a wordpress blog but it was used for a class I took, so I'd have to make a new one. Not sure what my plans will be.. I think I'll keep my LJ for more venting/personal posts, but your new blog is definitely inspiring me to want to create one down the line!

But yeah, I love when you have a new blog post and mention it on Facebook. It's good reading. :)

Yeah, LJ is kind of silo-ed these days. It's not as user friendly or intuitive as Wordpress, etc. Or as social media integrated.

Yeah mine was all locked venting and I don't really want to focus on that 100% of the time.
