Man, Filipinos need to learn satire/sarcasm and stop being so butthurt. I swear to god all the sugarcoating that is prevalent in Filipino society is one of the reasons I get so frustrated as a blunt and somewhat straight talker

James Soriano is an acquaintance of mine, who wrote this article Language, learning, identity, privilege and he caused a shitstorm because of his poorly written satire, even if he had a point about the prevalence and spread of English in this country. Just, urgh.
