So, you're working hard on this ripping-my-heart-out thing you've got going. So far, complete success.
Cas' parts were so mind numbingly angst filled I can't even begin to say how good you are. Dean's parts were so, so sad. Make it better!
Why does everything I read turn into angst? :) Must be my curse/blessing, depending on what day it is. ;)

To be honnest with you, I'm a bit sick with 5.04 fics... Too many of them, most not being really good or moving.
But this... This as to be my favorite 5.04 fic, along side with "The Wasteland" by Savaingfaith333.

I love it, can't wait for more =)

Wowee! High praise! Thank you, demnia! 5.04 and 5.10 are such pivotal points in this series that people were bound to go fic! and art!mad on them. I'm glad our one struck a chord though. :)

More will be coming soon... it gets darker before we see the light starting to grow. Even in the midst of writing it I was flailing and wailing and telling Danni that I just wanted to glob Dean and Cas in a huge hug and make it all go away, but the story COMPELLED US! XD

wow thanks love! I am a big fan of The Wasteland by Savingfaith also, so to have someone place us in the same legue as that story is so awesome!! I am really glad you are liking it. I agree, personally I don't read many of the 5.04 fics for the same reasons as you state. Plus I rather angel!cas to human!cas any day of the week lol.

But this story was something that came to us and inspired us to write it and we have really enjoyed the process. :D

**Tear...** alright...this was painful and I know it will continue before it gets better. Yup, "The Wasteland" by Savingfaith killed me and I am still in love with that story. This one is hurting me,too. I, unfortunately, am so visual and now, I can almost smell that room Cas is in and the vomit (excuse me as I have dry heaves..), ugh...got to get him better! Great job! :D
