Stunning, in spite of not achieving the resolution you wanted in the face.

I've got a French magazine at home that has some close-up pics of or nue. If they shed any light on the spacing of the threads, I'll send you pics.

I found 1 pic that has enough detail you can see the spacing of the threads. They did vary the spacing for shading, at least on areas that they wanted to use gold as part of the tone they were shading. I have 2 big files (6 meg & 4 meg) to send you.
