Bumroll #1

Well, I am trying to make a bumroll for myself. It is my first one, and I am not sure what I am doing. Yeah, that's right, my first bumroll, since I've always figured my ample bum was enough for the other Elizabethan style I wore. But this French farthingale really needs one, and so one will get made

Or you could bring it over here with some embroidery floss you like the color of (say 4-5 skeins) and we can fingerloop you some ties. I think this method is *much* sturdier than sewn in tapes...

I have cut off the tip of the crescent shape so there is a flat end that is two seam allowances wider than the tape I am using as ties.
