[Actor Profile] Erika Toda - The Girl with Many Faces

I've been wanting to focus on some of my favorite actors and actresses in dramas. I realized after while that I couldn't make a list because I can never remember everyone in one sitting and would want to constantly make a new list to add people, so I have an on going list that I'll pull people from and do these profiles on. OMG what a great idea for a post!

I may do this with several actors and actresses(when I actually start writing to my journal more often).

Erika Toda's first role that I ever saw was in Hana Yori Dango, that's why I remember it.She was a rival of Tsukushi and she told Domyouji that she was the one who had made the cookies of Tsukushi's.I hated her so much, I even swore at her in front of the screen.
The second role I saw was in Nobuta wo Produce and I couldn't believe she was the same person.
I have yet to see Spec, I really have to!!!!

You definitely should!

I had to go back and watch the episode because funny enough when I looked at the name of her character, I know exactly who she was playing. I remember how cursedly annoying she was in that episode, but it's still my favorite story arch from that drama.

The other week I was watching Death Note (the movie) and she suddenly popped up. I got that familiar feeling but didn't know it was her until I got to the credits.

I love Erika Toda!!! Yes, her character from SPEC is my favorite but Junko from Kagi Heya is up there, too. ♥

For whatever reason, I really love her voice when she gets contemplative...

I think Nao is my favorite that's the character where I really got to see something interesting and I'm a little disappointed she's not in this coming movie.

She was in Hanadan??? Where??!! I have seen that drama like 4 times... but than again, it took me a while to realise (while watching Kagi) she was the same girl as Liar Game ^^'
i think I need to give Keizoku 2: SPEC a shot, it would be really interesting to see her play that role!

I know...I couldn't believe it. I had to go back and watch Hana Yori, but she's the girl who tries to take advantage of Domuyogi when he gets amnesia at the very end.

i really like Toda Erika too!! She such a good actress and I love her voice and the way she laughs. ( fan girl mode here^^)

Toma from SPEC is my favorite.
I also like Aoto Junko from kagi no kakatta heya.
Her charecter in Code Blue and Boss are kick ass too!

I liked her character in Boss a lot and think she's similar to Toma but a little more serious/sensitive.

Aoto is amazing, I just finished episode 9 and I can't imagine letting any of these characters go in a couple of weeks.

Toda Erika is my favorite Japanese actress!<3 She's a really good actress, I'm not even joking when I say most of her dramas are my favorite jdrama. She's really good at picking a good drama to act in and she portray her character so well!

Not to mention Erika is totally funny, cute and "normal" off-stage. I just love her <3
