Am I the only one who doesn't understand what the fuck the mods over at akame_ are trying to do?

Because... what?!

I'm all for organized comms, but not when it means I have to do a bunch of extra shit. >_<

*sigh*

rant, akame, every other comm = fail, fandom

You've got a point. I'm pretty sure my fanfic writing days are drawing to a close. I've written hundred of pages of fiction over the last two years and posted them all on Akame Comm. I got buzzed by a mod for tagging an update "[fic]" instead of "{fic}". Now somewhere on this good earth something like brackets type might be important. But I'll be pickled if I can figure out its importance in a fanfic journal. Stuff like rampant misspelling, even in large font sizes just stays there on and on like a bulging tick.

I just give up. I miss all the really good writers too much. My problem is I'm a writer, not a fangirl so it's easy for me to look past all the smoke and flashing lights and squeals. Akame comm had a golden era but it's over. That's not the mods fault but all this petty stuff doesn't help my general bad mood. These new tags just feel like pressure to decide the fate of certain stories in process. It's supposed to be fun, right?

I can kind of see where they're going. I hate starting a fic and never being able to finish it. But I would be happy if they had people put the complete tag on the last chapter when something was finished. Preferably with a listing of all other chapters.

tags are for searching no? WHY ON EARTH WOULD I SEARCH FOR ANYTHING THAT IS ON HOLD or dropped or oh man they are so nuts. I am certainly not going to edit 100+ posts of mine there.

Guess we are back to the difference of reader and writer friendly again.
