And I'm really grateful to those scanners who have both scans as thumbnails you can click and then save the image AND zipped the files. Sometimes you don't want all the scans, and sometimes you don't have the time to save images separately.

Am I too demanding? ^^;
I do appreciate people's hard work....

As long as the zipped files contain just a single group, as opposed to the whole magazine, then that's good for me. The individual thumbnailed images are nice so I can preview them, but not are necessary for me and I'd MUCH rather have them zipped.

Hehe. I don't think it's too demanding. I think it's a common courtesy of the scanner/uploader to provide multiple ways of downloading the files. Like, if I rip a CD, I'm gonna upload the mp3s individually and as a zip. Because that's what I would want others to do. *shrugs*

My motto: When I have saved over a thousand pictures of JIN ALONE, I am not going to remember, nor care, where I got them. XD Also, I think crediting is dumb. Unless you're the photographer or the editor or the person in the photo yourself, all you did was buy a magazine or whatever, scan, and upload. I understand not wanting people to claim the scans as their own uploading work, but seriously? There are millions of copies of those same pictures sold all the time. Just because you own them doesn't mean anything.

:D

Oh, I definitely agree. Crediting is dumb for scans (and CD audio/video rips), but at least there aren't as many (any?) fans in the English/LJ fandom that put a watermark or logo on the scans. That REALLY pisses me off.

But what I don't get... do the scanners check? Like, if I reupload someone's scans or use them in icons or something, but don't credit anyone, do they check to see if it's their scans? Can they check?

like pixisticks already said, I also think that credits for scans are pointless. cause no one really cares about the person who scanned the pictures anyway... u_u;

... but how is one to get Internet Famous™ if nobody knows the hard work they put into scanning? *snorts*

But yeah, nobody cares who scanned a picture (or ripped a CD/DVD) except for the scanners themselves. -___-

1.- Please upload in zip files!!! I'm way too lazy to save one by one =_=U And it's easier and more organized when you post everything in just one link.

2.- I always do, even though that doesn't mean I whine whenever I have to give credits because the most of the time, I don't remember where I got the scans LOL

3.- The same as #2, I don't always remember where or when I got the scans, so it would be nice if the zip file had a "how to credit" thing, it would be so much easier to give credits XDU
