I've been trying to be more healthy, and I've been having some luck by focusing on eating *more* not less... as long as it's more protein, fiber, or fruits/veggies. While trying to avoid pure carbs, which is my go-to snack.

Like, instead of having a toasted roll, I'll have a toasted roll with ham, and pickles, and sliced beets, and flax seed, and some sliced egg, and cheese... Well, normally not all of that at once, but some combination of those.

I end up feeling more satisfied, getting more vitamins for little extra calories, and not feeling like I'm trying to deprive myself. Which all makes it easier to avoid a bag of chips or whatever.
