A question for anyone who watches 'Supernatural'

I'm just wondering ... with what Sam and Dean know of Hell, and what is currently going on in Heaven, have they given any thought to where they'd go if there were to die at this point? Are souls still going to Heaven, despite the chaos Metatron is causing? Has anyone touched on this in the show?

AFAIK, it hasn't been addressed on the show.

Metatron didn't shut heaven down, he just threw all the angels out. I'm assuming that - given prior episodes about heaven - people all still go to their private heavens (or hells). I don't think Metatron had a problem with heaven, per se, just the angels running the joint. And, given the trouble Zacharia gave the boys when they went heaven-jumping, I'd bet it's a nicer place, overall.

Thanks. I didn't think it had been addressed, but I wasn't sure if I'd forgotten something along those lines.

I realize that Metatron didn't shut down Heaven, and I remember how it worked with people going to their personal heavens but I was wondering if that would be affected by having no one running it. I couldn't, for the life of me, think of what the angels actually DID for a soul's personal Heaven. What did they actually DO whilst running Heaven?
