Spelling, punctuation, grammar and other language-use obsession...

For as long as I can remember, I have pointed and giggled whenever I saw a misspelled word on a sign, announcement in a church bulletin, magazine article or virtually any other public printing.  Recently, I've discovered several blogs that show me that it isn't just my Mom and I with this obsession... er... quirk.

Typos annoy me ... especially when it's my own writing that has such a glaring mistake. I used to date a guy who had ATROCIOUS spelling. *shudder* As a result, I can't stand to read email with glaring errors. It just pisses me off. :O)) As far as grammar ... meh ... :O) Hehe. I write fiction. If you want the conversations to be believable, you have to write the way people speak. ;O)
