Your trip (aside from the nasty water) sounds fabulous! I love all your pictures. I can see why you kind of regret getting up for the sunrise. The sunsets were definitely prettier. :)
I'm SO glad your visit went well! And this made me smile:
Tonight...I saw a white mom with the cutest black little girl and thought, "Wow. Next year that could be ME." And instead of feeling strange like it used to, this time it just made me smile.
I just think it hilarious that all those super-rich people went there for the winter and the water was brown! They should've kept going till they got to FL. And they did swim in it, too - we saw pics. But also I read that sometimes it's worse than others with the seaweed. And it's a good thing too, assuming you don't want to swim, 'cause the fish love to eat it so a lot of seafood is caught there. Still - it was gross.
=oD It still usually feels a little strange. I just don't feel old enough to have kids! But I mean, Angela had AJ when she was 20, so obviously I am. But still. But I'm getting to where I can imagine it pretty easily. That's progress.
I love seafood. It is sad to be in the Midwest without much of it. I remember those days. I hardly ever ate seafood and I had never tried lobster because it was far too expensive for my family!
Yeah, I know it's all gov't junk that costs so much. It's annoying. THANKS for praying!
That sounds just like the water on Tybee! It was brownish too! Georgia: not a beach destination. :P Sorry that was a bummer, but I'm glad you got to ride horses and see fun stuff! It sounds like an interesting place.
Yeah, apparently not. Good to know. At least I live near to the beach so if Isaac ever had a day off (*sigh*) we could go to a nice one. And yeah, despite the nasty water, it was a great trip. =o)

I'm so excited for the adoption for you! They ARE expensive, and I'm sure a lot of the fees are just for bureaucratic paperwork. I'll pray for you.
