Anything's better than that shriveled up nun! Jon and I love to watch the Spanish channel--they're always so dramatic, and we've watched made fun of it enough to recognize several actors. We make up what they're saying, and even if no one else thinks it's funny (Jon's mom just thought we were strange, hehe), we crack ourselves up!

Maybe your pumpkin was already old when you got it. Ours was starting to mold before Jon cut it, so it was gone in about three days (really, we should have thrown it out on day #2, but who knew a rotting pumpkin could smell so bad?).

I'm sure I would have eaten four of them as well. Caramel apples are delish!

Have fun at your party!

I like the Spanish channel too. I'm really annoying to watch it with though, because when I recognize a word I get really excited - "Ooh! I know that one!!!" Hehe. I think your game sounds quite entertaining.

Haha, our pumpkins were outside so I didn't notice the smell, but they started rotting pretty much immediately. Mine fell over was pushed only like 4 days later though. Sad.

They sure are! I need to make more.

We did. Thanks!

I wish I could've found the stuff I needed! I've since been looking for newsie caps at thrift stores and still haven't found any.

Me too. Stupid pumpkins.

I want more!

I'm sorry about the early demise of your pumpkins! Yum for caramel apples :D I just buy the pre-sheeted caramel from the grocery store and wrap it around the apples. You've inspired me to do that again!

I've seen those wraps, but I never have tried one. Are they hard to do?

I'm so proud of you for being a Newsie! :-D That movie was such a craze at Wittlingen; the girls (and we) were forever dressing up as Newsies.

Re: music -- have you heard Starfield? They are my new faves.

Well, I wanted to be a Newsie, but I couldn't find a hat or vest, which are really necessary. Ha! You should post some pics of them in their Newsie outfits. =o)

Yep! Although I don't recall any of their songs specifically. I know they play a lot of their stuff on Air1.
