Throughout the day I think of so many things I want to tell you guys, but when I actually sit down to do so, they fly right out of my head. It's kind of annoying. Perhaps it's the scent of the Crock Pot Italian Roast Beef wafting through the house that's distracting me. It smells heavenly. I can't wait to taste it ( Read more... )

There was so much I wanted to try! I considered the Romano Chicken for a while, actually. And the spicy chicken tortillas. And several other things. =o)

I was surprised how good the actual food is at the Cheesecake factory. And of course the cheesecake is to die for. When I went (it was actually with a group of church ladies) we passed the cheesecake around the table so everyone could try all the different kinds.

Alanna and I talked about you over the weekend. We saw a Ross and thought of you. :-) I was reading some old LJ posts and it made me remember how much I miss you.

I know! All I had heard about was their cheesecake (which absolutely deserves its reputation), so I was pleasantly surprised to see their HUGE menu and to taste my excellent entree! The cheesecake was wonderful though, because it was not as rich/overly sweet as most cheesecake, but it was still decadent. I was able to eat half of my slice last night and half today, which is crazy for me, considering how large the slice was. Usually I can't take too much stuff like that or I feel sick.

Aww! That makes me happy. I miss you too! I'm still holding out hope that someday soon I'll meet you (and Alanna) in person. I also need to ask you more about digiscrapping one of these days, as I'd love to try it. I think I might be more motivated to do that than I am to do regular scrapbooking (which is... not at all. Hehe.), which would be a good thing. =o)

You would be AWESOME at digiscrapping. And I'm guessing also that it would work for you, because I can't get motivated to do paper scrapping either... too much setup and mess. But I love digiscrapping because it's right there on my computer and you can move stuff around until you're happy with it, undo things, etc. If you want to try it, let me know and I'll link you up with all the coolest and best digiscrapping freebie sites.

You're welcome. I think. Hehe.

I can definitely see that. I eat a lot of good food. Of course, I never tell you guys about when we have frozen pizza or cereal or bagels or something for dinner. ;o)

heh - well... it gave me amusement, but I don't know if that's good for your ego or anything like that. ;-)

I wanted to let you know, btw, that I *will* be responding to all the Europe things you've posted on my journal as soon as I'm done with school on Thursday. I've had great fun reaidng them and I can't wait to respond.

That's what I'm not so sure of, hehe.

Ha! I can't remember saying anything other than, "I am SO JEALOUS" and "Did I mention I'm jealous?", so I'm not sure what you have to reply to. ;o)

Yay for crockpot dinners! By the way, just for your future shopping ease, I've found that all cuts of beef roast taste incredible cooked in the crockpot for hours (as opposed to the oven or pan, where some cuts can end up being tough or dry). I don't know how many I've tried, but I've never made a slow-cooked roast that wasn't incredibly juicy and tender. So I won't even pay attention to the kind of roast called for in a recipe--I just get whatever is on sale. :)

Anyway, just a tip, in case the cut you're looking for is unavailable or too expensive!

The reason I was wandering around looking for so long is because the only one they had out was the ribeye one, and it was really expensive. I didn't want to get that one. The one I got was like half the price of that one. =o)

Thanks! I am glad to learn any cooking tips you want to share! =o)

Oh, I know! Isaac said he could smell it outside the house, too. =oD

Ditto!

Hehe, that's okay. I used my mom's hand-held body fat tester Thursday night and it had much better news for me. Actual results from working out!!

LOL! Thanks. I think. ;o)
