Some people say it is. Maybe if the photo was ripped off or Sasha didn't consent. But is it exploitation if you know what you are doing and being paid well and actually agree with the company?
Her Rolling Stone interview was a bit funny. Howard Stern didn't go for it though. As far as films, well it's acting. some forget that and she is kinda calling her own shots now. Plus she's not all cosmetically puffed up and distorted like some others which indeed makes her more human! Ha
I always thought of exploitation as negatively taking advantage of someone or a situation for gain, which most often happens, like in the example above by lilspanker. If she agreed to let her image be used, then no harm done.

Actually, of all the consumerist critiques, I never really got "exploitation".
Exploitation is taking black college athletes and giving them cars so you can take 10-15% off their paychecks when they're pro.
Ever since art school, so often I fail to find ppl's reasoning to be true, when things /art/ ppl are beautiful, accept, don't fight it.
