So tigertale7 threw down this gauntlet, admittedly after I’d maybe sort of maybe pointed this gifset into her life, but ah, what a gifset it is. This is likely considerably fluffier than it should be, and perhaps not what she or I had in mind, but you know.

It is my favorite kind of "fluff", in that there are darker things peeking about the edges of the warmth.

Um. I sort of have a lot of serious feelings about this, even without having any idea about canon or how much--if any--of the characterization is AU. I feel like I don't really need to know because they stand so well on their own, without the canon back story. I love the glimpses into deeper things between them, and I like that there's a 'have they' or 'will they' feel to this. I Love that Grantaire is Enjolras's respite. (I tend to eat that sort of thing up with a gd spoon. LOVE.)

I'm so pleased you enjoyed. :) If someone had warned me a few months ago I'd end up writing a modern au, I would have been rather o.o, but that gifset was indeed a wonder, wasn't it.
