The Mad Skills Photography Contest

About.
The Mad Skills Photography Contest is for people who want to show off their work and like contests or you know just for fun. All you have to do is apply, follow the rules, and try your best to win. There will be different phases, I guess I could say, where there will be a theme or a message and you need to take a picture(s) to relect it. For instance, if the theme was death, you'd take a picture of the outside of a morgue, a cementary, a tomb, something that causes death, etc. There are lots of other things conserned with death, you just have to think. You'll be judged on creativity, originality, and overall how good the picture is and how well it represents the theme etc.
Rules.
1|Stick to the theme or message.
2|Do not use someone elses picture.
3|Be nice, and have fun.

If you have a community that is original and you'd like to promote or you'd just like to sponser this contest then try to get in touch with me (licorice_lace) through my journal if I have a public entry dated the most two days back or my email, licorice_lace@livejournal.com, or AIM, TadaItsJess.
What's my role as sponser?
As sponser you are promoted by the contest you are listed on the user info page, every other entry concerning the contest, and if we get a new layout with a sidebar then the sidebar also. You must in turn promote us in every entry you post, your info page and if you have a sidebar there also. You must also put together some sort of package for the winner of the contest, nothing big, but something so that I can put together all the things from the sponsers and send it to the winner. All items must first be approved by me.
Participant Sponsers.
Attention participants, try to get sponsers for yourselves, but your sponser's would be more like fans I guess. Inform all your friends about the contest and ask them to join the community and support you and to promote themselves as well it helps us all. :)

Everyone who applies before the deadline will participate, and everyone except 18 of you will be eliminated in the first round and the one's who are left will go on to the second round. The application must be sent to licorice_lace@livejournal.com and with the subject "Mad Skills Photography Contest Applicant." And if you could attach your examples unless you have a site where you keep your work.
Judging.
Judging will be done by the entire community. They will vote, but I will choose 3 other people to judge and make final decisions. If you can photograph (you need to show me examples), but do not want to take part in the contest, and would like to judge then fill out the following application and email it to me licorice_lace@livejournal.com, with the subject title "Mad Skills Contest: Judge". Applicants and Judges have the same application.
