If you like deafeningly loud music, dancing, and watching drunk people be morons, sure, prom is great.

And i'm trying to understand the natives. is there really a good reason to wear 4 inch heels when your date is under 5 feet tall?

And you got me, re: the heals! No clue. I can never walk in the things. There's a lot of tumbling and falling and taking down people and tables with me.

once she realized how ridiculous it looked when she tried to make me dance, i managed to avoid any public humiliation. and she didn't make up with the ex-date, so i didn't get stranded or anything. The music was CRAP though.

i dunno. hospitals don't have crappy-ass techno mixes at ear-shattering volumes and hordes of giggling idiots in clouds of cheap perfume.

Hospitals do have idiot nurses, who, for the most part, avoid the hell out of me.

And they keep taking away my liquor.

By the way, have you found any good thai places? The fosterthing thinks that basic americana is the be all and end all of cuisine. I want noodles that aren't slathered in cheese sauce.
