You gotta be kidding me.

Its snowing AGAIN.

I swear we have 6-7 inches. Its not supposed to fully stop until Monday afternoon. Seriously. We're gonna have like a FOOT of snow!!! This is an anomoly. Aboslutely insane.

This is supposed to be the coldest weekend of the season in the Seattle area, and this is the same weekend, coincidentally, that the apartment's boiler decided to break. So all 38 units are without heat. I can't see my breath yet, but I am in 2-3 layers of clothing and drinking warm beverages to stay warm. Just fucking lovely ( Read more... )

So today 2 buses decided to slide down E Thomas, one block from my apt, slam into each other on Melrose Ave, and bust through the guard rail and dangle over the I-5 freeway.

So it is snowing. No one cares. Except me. I find it facinating. It makes everything so pretty! I think people in other states take snow for granted. We don't get a lot of it here, and when we do, its usually 1-2 inches and it melts into slush the next day, making the holiday season soggy and wet ( Read more... )
