As the second decade of my life closes, I feel I should say a few words. And here they are:

The time has come, I think, to quietly lay this little journal down to sleep. It's been an interesting few years, and I could list all the things I have learned, all the ways I have grown, down here in black

though on reflection, i think with denouement you'd really said as much as one could expect.

it's sort of fun, seeing you pop up once a year on your birthday. i think you should keep this journal just for that purpose

i moved mostly off to facebook and myspace, as i'm such a social software slut, but i did have fun back here, and part of that was reading your short fiction.

so, always nice to be reminded of that. like remembering a really great party or a nice dinner.

hope you're really happy, and really well, and having a blast doing whatever it is you're doing. sounds like you are.
