Well what if this turns out to be another dead end? What if I don't blog at all here? What if this goes dead just like the blog on blogger? Well we start out with pessimism where I come from. So excuse me :)

A new blog, a new job.. just about any thing new brings with it, I suppose a lot of promise, and a few doubts (may not even be in the same order!)
I've been on blogger too, but when I was at NCST, I was told that I had to also create an lj as it would serve as our grapevine. My own first post (http://prashanthchengi.livejournal.com/570.html) but I guess I've found my own here! One thing that is very different from blogger is the crowd: I think there are some truly amazing people out here at lj and getting to know people and making friends is a breeze. The 'friends-page' thingy is something you will just love: it works much like google-reader, giving you gists of postings by all the people you list as friends. Have fun on lj!

Thanks chengi, deepa... Maybe it's just inertia that stops me or maybe I can't think of anything to add to all the noise on the internet. And there's no sense of instant gratification that FB offers on a blog. Or maybe I'm just plain lazy. Well let us hope I find time and inspiration to come back here more often :)
