-Nataku is sitting on the roof of House 35. What he sees fascinates him. He has evaded the objects flying around... so far. It was never like this in heaven. The weather is beautiful and mystifying to him. So many changes.-

How does the weather make someone sad?

For many people, gloomy weather is associated with unpleasant memories.

To some, yes.

Weather might be beyond our reach, but it is also something that some people attach meaning or emotions to. Winter tends to make people think of death and loneliness, whereas spring reminds people of rebirth. The same goes with sunny days and rainy days.

If you read many fictional books or watch many plays, you'll notice that often, the great tragedies happen on bad weather days or at night. It only enforces those associations in the people who read or watch those things.
