Okay. So I'm late with this. Chris... is kind of similar to Rune in Rath's eyes, and this mostly confusing and... well, a good thing to him. As they don't know each other that well yet, Rath is bound to keep a distance personally to him, but... the fact that Chris KNOWS he's a demon counts a lot in Rath actually placing his trust in him, if he does that in the future.
Because Chris treats him normally, despite his heritage, and... well. IDK, it's kind of complicated |D Anyway, Rath likes teasing him and thinks he's one funny guy who reacts funny too. 8)
Anyway. Kaistern... is someone Rath says he hates, really, but he's also the only person he's confided in completely and fully, and is also the one he's going to end up talking to if there's something happening in camp. He would also protect him as much as he could, and probably also die for him, but I doubt Kaistern would let him. Which brings us to the fact that Kaistern sacrificed himself for RATH and Rath really really doesn't like that. He... realized that he indeed loves Kaistern like the big/brother/father-figure he's been, and his best friend and confidant. Rath doesn't always trust Kaistern to be safe, or... has a hard time trusting him after what he pulled.
Even so... in camp, he's the person he trusts the most. And this is kind of obvious.
