*Otis actually arrives a few moments before eight. Although intelligence isn't Otis's strong point, he's certainly cunning and has come armed, wearing thick gloves and keeping a bottle of holy water and a stake concealed in a burlap bag.
Sophie is still back at the hideaway, with more than enough bottled blood to keep her fed...*

So... are you sayin' you an' Vlad don't want lil Sophie back? I don't claim to know much about his Count-ness, but seems to me he ain't the type to let a fledglin' of his go jes' like that. Way I see it, Sophie'd mean more to him than UV would. Is there somethin' you're not tellin' me here - is what you're sayin' that you want UV for your own? You and the Count?

You, yourself, said that she was having fun. So you must be good for her. An amiable agreement everywhere, I should think. You have Sophie, she's yours. We have UV. He is ours.
I'm relaying orders. If you choose to think that I'm not speaking them properly, you can always contact Vlad directly. Though he is insanely busy these days and truly hates it when he's bothered. Especially by rogue vampires. He's even more dangerous than I when it comes to these things. And infinitely less patient.
What people mean to us is our own concern. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

That's all mighty generous of you, Mr. Klaus. Sophie is a mighty pretty young lady, but she does lack that certain... something I look for in a fledglin' of mine. She ain't pale enough for my tastes, if you get my drift. She's all right for a lil bit of fun, but I gotta have an albino for anythin' more permanent.
I don't need no money. I kin get plenty if I want it. And if you ain't gonna hand over UV, I might as well give you Sophie back. She's too sweet for me to kill. But you're sayin' you don't want her... what's with that?
