So there's this radical collective based out of Berkeley, CA called Slingshot! And every year they put out the Slingshot! Organizer. It's a year-long day planner that also happens to be chock full of helpful information for that special rebel pinko freak we all know.

Why am I mentioning this to you on this entry?

This year's planner includes a tiny doodle in the margins that depicts a fire-free charcoal grill. It involves an old charcoal grill lined with brick pieces and a blow dryer attached to a hole drilled in the underside of the grill frame. Seems like a neat idea to me.

Of course, this was also the doodle in the margin of April Fool's Day, so you might not wanna risk it! ;P

with a heat gun/shrink wrap gun, i could see it working, with a hair drier i think you would just get dehydrated foods! ;-D
