If you had Ryuubi busy with something else, I can just delete that and say they didn't talk. Killua's spot in the plot became pretty void because of my hiatus, so I'm kind of just grasping at straws.

Killua would have gone in for a quick strike, but all he'd really need to lose motivation would be to be told that this was affecting innocents. People who are purposely fighting the kyuubi or the people out there as distractions, he'd feel they went in knowing there was a chance something bad could happen. But if someone who wasn't involved was in trouble, he wouldn't be happy.
