Well that explains why Hyuk had such a reaction when he found out he's partnered with Hae, I would react that way too. Even though Hae didn't mean any harm with this confession and poor timing, but I don't blame Hyuk for associating Hae with hurting Kyu. Hyuk would do anything to not hurt his kids and he'd kill anyone who would do them harm so since it was Hae's fault that Hyuk missed parents day and thereby hurting Kyu, Hyuk hates Hae, to an extent. But he knows it's not rational and he actually seems interested in Hae so Hyuk's conflicted
