First Vid Ever... and some art

Mar 02, 2007 20:55

Recently there was a thingy where vidders posted their first vids, so I gave in and did mine as well. My first, sad, sad little vid was Angel/Spike to Tegan & Sara’s “My Number”… Don’t laugh, I’m serious. On Tuesday, July 27, 2004, 12:30:00 AM this seemed like a perfectly good idea. I apologize to the vidding community at large for the atrocity ( Read more... )

BOO! That wasn't nearly as bad as I hoped it would be. There was a great sense of musicality, on-beat internal motion, and even some humor.

Suddenly wondering if all great vidders show instincts like that right from their first vid.

I watch it and cringe. Seriously. Angel's lip sync to "stay"? I turned them into 13-year-old-girls.

Before I knew what vidding was, I would watch movies and take note of cool things I liked. Then when I found out about vidding it was like being given a chance to use all my useless knowledge.

Aww, that made my heart grow three sizes. And of course I get there and only get to comment once before it closed.

I actually liked this. Even though, you're right. You totally made them 13-year-old-girls. *g* Does that make me odd? Probably. And psshaw, that's not bad source quality! You should have seen my first video. It had tv static lines running through it. But I was so proud of myself I actually posted it. For shame...

I love these pictures, btw! Especially the first & last.

Deep down inside Spike and Angel are 13-year-old girls. It was only through my first vid that people are able to realize it. :) I halfway remember converted the source from realplayer format to wmv and wanted to stab myself in the eye because it took forever. I have no idea why I didn't post mine. I think it was because deep down I was ashamed.

Thanks.
