confused minds, part 6 (UruhaXKai)

Notes: *coughs* yup, this fic didn't die^^; just as my other ongoing one. Both took my exact 5 months before i finally could go back to writing on it. Maybe I had a writers block? I don't know, either way, i'm am very sorry for taking so long *bows* please forgive me! m(__)m

Summary: Kai and his lover break up. But the things he told Kai in their last conversation makes Kai feel confused. Does Uruha really love him, more than just close friends. Or was his ex-lover playing a trick on him??

Thud thud thud
I frowned as I looked over at Ruki, who was currently tapping his feet against the couch. We were at Reita’s apartment, wanting to get some work done, before our 3 week long break would come to an end.
You could say I was kinda lucky the breaking up with Him happened the same day the break started. Else I’m sure it would’ve affected the band. My eyes drifted to a certain guitarist with blond hair and pouty lips. Uruha was strumming away on his guitar, trying to get a certain part correct, every now and than writing something down on the notebook in his lap.
As if feeling my eyes on him, he looked up at me, probably wondering why I was staring at him.
A slight blush spread on my features as I gave him a small nod before returning back to staring at my own notebook. Only one sentence was on it till now.
‘Is it love, or just a crush?’
I frowned, for some reason I couldn’t concentrate on my work. Thoughts about Uruha kept popping up into my mind and the other’s were not really helping.
Thud thud thud did Ruki’s foot again and I could hear Reita mumbling something to himself, Aoi was absentmindly pulling on the strings of his guitar one by one while flipping though some magazine with our last photo shoot, and Uruha just kept playing softly.
I cursed and threw my pencil on the table.
“I can’t concentrate with all the noise you guy’s make!!” I shouted and wasted no time in getting out of Reita’s apartment, not caring that I left my back and notebook behind.

“Damn that Uruha for occupying my mind the whole time” I muttered to myself as I walked into a park near Reita’s apartment.
I hated the fact that I couldn’t concentrate on my work.
Sighing I sat down on a bench, looking at the clouds in the sky. It was some where in the late afternoon, the autumn sun was already setting, casting an orange glow over the buildings and tree’s of Tokyo.

I looked up surprised at Kai’s outburst, staring at the door he had slammed close behind him.
“What the hell was that about?” Reita asked surprised and I shrugged, not knowing what was bothering Kai either. I walked over to where Kai had been sitting only a few moments before, picking up his pen and note book. Intending to put it back in his bag so he wouldn’t lose it. But the blank page with only one sentence caught my eye.
‘Is it love, or just a crush?’
I frowned, could it be that he..? naah it couldn’t.
“I wonder what the heck he got stuck up in his ass lately” Ruki muttered and looked frowning at the door. We all nodded, Kai had been acting weird lately, and it wasn’t because of the breaking up.
We decided we could better end the meeting, Ruki stayed behind to help Reita cleaning the mess we managed to make(and probably doing some more fun activity), while me and Aoi went outside to search for Kai.

“Ne Uru-kun” Aoi started and turned around to face. “Do you know what’s up with Kai lately? Since you two live together I thought you maybe could know”
I shook my head as we walked out of the street.
“He started behaving like this a few days after I found him sitting in front of the window with the necklace He gave him” I mumbled as we headed towards the park Reita gave us directions for. When Kai was very upset and he had no other place to go, he would most likely sit around in the nearest park. Which was the reason why we would start our search there.
“I don’t know what to do Aoi” my voice became slightly cracked with emotions ”I-I think I love him…But I’m so afraid. What if he doesn’t love me but someone else? What if I end up hurting him?”
“It’ll be okay Uruha, give it some time” Aoi just said and stepped closer to hug me. I hugged back, closing my eyes to fight the upcoming tears.
A gasp could be heard and I stepped back out of Aoi’s embrace just in time to see a certain brown haired drummer running into a side street.
“Kai…”
