I love Seattle. I loved it the first time. It started rocky, but I loved it the second time, too: old friends and familiar restaurants, but also new ones, plus a new job, new neighborhood, new relationship status, new sport, new understanding of my body as I moved from idle to athletic. And a good plan :) Change states may be necessary, but don't have to be fun - although from what I'm hearing, it sounds like you're having fun, too!

You're challenging yourself. It's got to be a bit frightening and uncomfortable, if it's really a challenge. I think you are so strong, and you'll be awesome, and this change will lead to much personal growth...it already has.

Seattle will always be there for you. It's right where you left it. ^_^ If life is about discovering as much about the world and ourselves as we can, then you're doing the right thing.

I think Seattle prepared you to move forward, taught you that change was good, and made it comfortable to you. Which is very, very cool.
