I have to say, this is HEAVEN! This is soo wonderful and creative and really, really inspired. I love that their characterisations remain so constant despite the different 'lives' they lead.

And the line, 'she had originally thought the Dixon brothers nothing more than rough, uncultured brutes who had most likely stolen the intriguing steam-powered bicycle and the complex clockwork crossbow' just had me imagining Daryl and Merle tooling around the farm on this wacky old-timey bike with wings and a big engine, and it totally cracked me up ^_^

I had so many idea for AU fics that I had to do this to get them all out of my head so other fic could get done. XD And oh my god, yes, I kinda adore the Steampunk one. It was fun to try and change my writing style to seem more old fashioned.
