I got put out in the gas station tonight. It was very...interesting. The station's got a very different setup and clientèle. I would've appreciated some training or preparation of any sort before getting tossed out there, but I survived, so I suppose that means Meijer was right in not thinking the training necessary (lol - as Mike would've said, "

I've never known anyone before who worked in the Meijer Gas Station! Very cool. I'm surprised that they have a different clientele. I would have though folks would get gas on their way in/out of the store. Sounds like you're having some interesting experiences. Next time you come to Addis Ababa, we'll have to see if you can get a job a a TOTAL Station!

Sure do miss you. I head for Johannesburn Thursday AM and will check for a Meijers there!
