He’d thought he had pushed his body to its limits one year ago by not sleeping and locking himself up in the Room of Hidden Things to get that damn cabinet working. He’d nearly fallen apart on that horrible night in the Tower when his favorite teacher killed his headmaster, when Professor Snape’s silken voice had turned rough and course and “Run!” had coursed through Draco’s body like a baying wolf. He’d run, and he swore it had nearly killed him, but he’d survived. )
